Swisscom TV und Slingbox

Hello

Ich habe eine Frage betreffend der Slingbox.

So wie ich es verstanden habe geht aus auch mit dem Swisscom TV.

Ich habe eine Swisscom TV Hauptbox und 2 Swisscom TV Zusatz Boxen.

Ich wäre interessiert das Swisscom TV auf unsere 3 Notebooks und 2 iPod Touchs zu verteilen.

Was brauche ich an Slingbox Hardware ? (Das verstehe ich noch nicht ganz...auch nicht wenn ich auf der Webpage der Slingbox.com nachlese.....)

Wie könnte ich die Slingbox anschliessen ?

Wie sieht die effiktive Menusteuerung aus, wie kann ich Box steuern ?

(Hat jemand Screenshots....)

Kann man das Swisscom TV 1:1 bedienen auf dem PC (Sling Player PC) und dem iPod touch (Sling Player Mobile) ?

Ich habe auch eine Slingbox jedoch nicht für Swisscom TV, aber für DirecTV.

Ich habe den DirecTV per Komponenten an die Slingbox angeschlossen, das gleiche sollte auch mit der Swisscom TV Set Top Box möglich sein.

Danach muss der Infrarot Sender vor die Set Top Box montiert werden, damit du von der Software auf dem PC die Zapp Signale senden kannst.

Was ich nicht weiss, ist ob, die Fernbedienung von Swisscom TV bereits in der SlingPlayer Software integriert ist. Falls nicht, musst du die IR Code SIgnale selbst "mappen". Das könnte unterumständen sehr aufwendig sein /emoticons/default_wink.png.

Die Slingbox muss natürlich per Ethernet am besten an den Router angeschlossen werden /emoticons/default_wink.png

I'm sorry but I write in English because my German his very bad, hope it's ok.

First you will need a Slingbox, in Switzerland you will find two the SOLO (if you want to control a single source like Swisscom TV) and the PRO (You can connect up to 4 systems, like Swisscom TV, VCR, DVD etc + one TNT tunner).

Connection can from Swisscom TV by composite or S-Video (By the way I have one bug that I will explain later)

You need to have a account at Sling then you can download the software or connect via webrowser :

For the remote control you can go here :

And load my file that I create for Swisscom TV box :

You will also need to configure your routeur to open one port.

Player will look like that :

Work on all PC but be carefull one connection at one time (you can not be connected from 2 PC as ex)

Mobile player his chargable (33.- for the iphone app), since 2 days Iphone app his also working on 3G (before only on Wifi)

One limitation his the upload from swisscom 1MB his not optimal (but usable) 2 or 3MB will be great (If Swisscom read this )

Even if swisscom may!?! release soon ??!?? a Iphone app for watching TV it will for sure be limited to Swiss IP so no way to use in foreign country, with slingbox it works everywhere.

Zuerst müssen Sie eine Slingbox, in der Schweiz finden Sie zwei SOLO (Wenn Sie eine einzige Quelle wie Swisscom TV steuern möchten) und die PRO (Sie können bis zu 4 Systeme, wie Swisscom-TV, VIDEORECORDER, DVD etc. + eine TNT Tunner verbinden).

Sie benötigen auch so konfigurieren Sie Ihre Routeur um einen Port öffnen.

Arbeit auf alle PC werden aber inhaltlicher eine Verbindung zu einem bestimmten Zeitpunkt (Sie können nicht von 2 angeschlossen werden-PC als ex)

Mobile Player seiner nachladbaren (33-für das Iphone-app), seit 2 Tagen iPhone app seine auch arbeiten auf 3 G (vor nur auf WiFi)

Wireless Mobile Für Das iPhone, Den iPod touch Und Das iPad Im iTunes App Store.

Bug wie eine gesagt hat, so zuvor, wenn die TV seine verbunden über HDMI mit Bluewin festlegen 720p oder 1080i Bild seine Schnitt rechts und Links + Swisscom Feld dieser Einstellung Offen zurück zu 4/3 zurücksetzen (nicht versuchen in SVHS)

Last but not least, ja erhalten Sie 1: 1-Menü und Zugriff auf alle Ihre Datensatz VOD, live Ereignis...

Sie können den Spieler auch auf rechts oder links oder Ihrem Desktop ablegen, als diese Exemple:

Eine Beschränkung seines das Upload vom Swisscom können seine nicht optimal (aber nutzbar) 2 oder 3 MB, 1 MB werden große (wenn Swisscom lesen diesem)

Auch wenn Swisscom kann!?! Version bald??? einer iPhone-Applikation für Fernsehen wird es sicher sein beschränkt sich auf Schweizer IP so keine Möglichkeit, im Ausland, mit Slingbox es verwenden überall funktioniert

Thank you very much for your detailed description. It gives a very good overview what is possible and what not.

I am interessted to have the same Swisscom TV screen on all devices at my home. It seems this possible.

Great is also that I can connect to my recorded tv files, that is exactly what i want

I hope this not an illegal solution and Swisscom can agree with it.

My third swisscom TV box is connected to TV with the component plug. This not a problem for me.

Nein, die Slingbox hat einen externen Infrarot-Sender (Kabel und kleiner Sender), der so platziert werden muss, dass die SCTV-Box die Signale empfängt. Du kannst die Box also noch normal bedienen.

Hello, no the PRO and SOLO doesn't have HDMI connection.

Yes the issue is with my Swisscom Box connected in HDMI (with 720p or 1080i setting) to my TV and Slingbox connected with component cable.

I open a case at slingbox but for the moment no solution.

However, you cannot use a HDMI connection. The Component connection will do just fine.

Darf ich Fragen ob Du die Slingbox Solo oder die Slingbox Pro in Betrieb hast ? Ich brauche ja das "nur" im das TV auf die PC's und iPod Touch's zu verteilen.

Für mich ist nicht klar wie die Bild Qualität der Slingbox Solo ist ? Diese untertützt ja HD nicht, so wie ich es verstanden habe.

Bei mir wird das Thema wieder aktuell. Nun allerdings mit TV 2.0. Es gibt ja neu den Infrarot-USB-Dongle, den ich beim Sender der Slingbox platzieren könnte. Bleibt aber das Problem des Anschlusses. TV 2.0 hat HDMI-Ausgang und die Slingbox nur einen Component-IN. Könnte ich dies mit einem HDMI to Component Konverter lösen?

Hole das alte Thema wieder hoch, da ich immer noch den Wunsch habe, eine Slingbox zu installieren. Hat irgend jemand die Slingbox mit TV 2.0 in Betrieb? Es gäbe ja als Workaround die Möglichkeit mit einem HD Fury Adapter, der das Signal dann halt analog aber in guter Qualität über Component an die Slingbox weiterreicht. Bevor ich hier aber hunderte Franken ausgebe, wäre ich über Praxiserfahrung froh.
