Samsung Smart Touch & Cablecom STB (set top box)

I have configured a Samsung Smart Touch Remote control to work with my Cablecom STB (Cisco 8685 model).

Everything works except that the remote will not power on the Cablecom box (STB), i.e. power off, channel changing, volume, menu access, etc. all work ... the only thing that does not work is the power on. To switch on the Cablecom box I need to use the Cablecom remote control.

Any ideas how to get this working.

To power on you need to learn the upc/cablecom button on your remote...
